  1. Commentators Mount Rushmore

    Tony Schiavone
He’s still the voice of wrestling to me.

    Paul Heyman
I much prefer him to Lawler when it comes to being JR’s partner.

    Jim Ross
    I may be a NWA/WCW guy, but I can’t deny JR’s greatness.

    Bobby Heenan
Best heel colour guy by far.

    Death Valley

    Joey Styles
Heyman’s a great mind in this business. He’s a great manager. A great commentator. A great promo guy. ECW sucked though, and Styles was part of what I didn’t like about it.

    Jerry Lawler
Maybe it’s because I was watching Turnerland for most of the Monday Night Wars, but I never got Lawler’s appeal.
He’s a creep on the mic and just annoying.

    Mike Tenay
Now this is a bit hard for me say. I loved Tenay in WCW. He was fantastic as a colour guy who could provide unique insight with his encyclopedic knowledge of pro wrestling across the world. Schiavone/Heenan/Tenay is the best three-man booth ever, in my opinion.
That being said? He crashed and burned in TNA as the lead play by play guy. It just didn’t work.

    Steve “Mongo” McMichael
I hated McMicahel as a kid watching Nitro in the mid 90s. I’ve recently started watching Nitro from the beginning on the Network and he’s even worse than I remember.

There are definitely announcers worse than Lawler/Styles/Tenay, but those are just the worst from my own experiences as a fan. I will happily concede that there are worse then those three though.
McMichael though? That’s a line in the sand. He’s the worst. The absolute worst 😛

  2. As for who would have been booking WCW in January 1992? It wouldn’t have been Dusty. Dusty and Herd both got flack for letting Flair go to the WWF.
I’m not 100% certain but I think this may have been a committee period. Where it was Sullivan, Jim Crockette, and a few other people.
